Hugo safaris Uganda began in 2019 with a highly experienced and well versed tour guide who has guided in most of the sub-Saharan Africa countries and a son of a former range Mr. Hugo, therefore, with such an experience and devotion for tourism and hospitality, a dream safari agency called Hugo safaris Uganda was born.
We are now the among the leading safari agency in Uganda and Rwanda due to our excellent and tailor-made safaris. Uganda is one of the most endowed tourist destinations in east, central and south Africa with its diverse Bio-diversity from where it got its name “The Pearl of Africa”, Hugo safaris Uganda was born from it and hope to expand beyond East Africa to southern Africa and the Horn of Africa.

Sustainability or Community Uplift and Involvement
Hugo safaris Uganda deals directly with the communities around most of the national parks.
We empower, educate and work together/jointly with the Bigodiin, women groups around Kibale national park “the chimpanzee capital of Africa” and Buhoma near Bwindi impenetrable national park in activities like basket weaving, tailoring, coffee planting, harvesting and locally processing it and making other crafts. Some of these ladies are either widowed, single mothers by divorce or in most cases by husband dying from AIDS, school dropouts like cases of Covid-19,we empower and support them financially by funding the above activities and in doing so , we are saving our animals, the chimps, elephants and others from being poached or poisoned when they encroach their crops/plantations. We don’t only support women but also the pygmies/Batwa men who were once living in the Bwindi impenetrable national park such that they don’t again go back and poach our beloved Gentle giants “the mountain Gorillas”, and of recent, we have also gone and extended our support to some orphanage primary schools in fort portal, great Mbarara district, Kanungu district and Karamoja region near kidepo national park. In most of our trips, we try to visit a few of those groups depending on the travel schedule or sector of allocation for the primates like chimps and gorillas.
